One of Landon's first experiences in the exersaucer!
He was trying despritely to get that butterfly in his mouth!
A picture says a million words!
In two days Landon will be three months old already! He still has his ups and downs, but in general is doing very well. He's been sleeping an average long stretch of 6-7 hours per night except when he wakes up with terrible gas. We're trying something new AGAIN... a formula for fussiness, gas and spit-up. Rob's hesitant to think that anything is going to help, but I'm willing to try. I'm not ready to give up nursing, but if this helps, I think I'll slowly start to incorporate nursing again and see if we can find a happy medium.
Monday I start back to work, still three days/week. The kids will be staying home with the grandma's, except for one day that Madisyn will go to daycare. I am SO grateful that the grandma's are willing to help out this summer because I don't think I'm ready to start Landon in daycare.
I have mixed feelings on returning to work. On one hand I think it will be a great "break" from the exhausting days with both kids. On the other hand, I will dearly miss my time with Landon (and the naps I still despritely need). I'm not worried about Madisyn because I know how much she loves time with her Grandma's. It will be an adjustment, but I recall it being a smooth one after Madisyn, so I'm hoping for the best!

Hey! How are you? We will be up for getting together whenever you guys want, we are pretty open. I hope returning to work goes well for you, I am sure it is tough! Landon is getting so big, I love it. What fun!!!
It is always hard to go back to work. When I went back Braden was only 7 weeks old! I was ready in some ways, but not in others. It is a big balancing act. I am glad that you were able to have 3 months off, that is great!
FYI- I had to use special formula for Braden because he also had a lot of gas. It seemed to help him.
By the way, he looks like a happy baby.
It was so awesome to see you too!!! I'm so glad I got to meet Landon, what a doll he is! And I can't believe how big Madyisn's getting!! She's beautiful! Hope we get to spend more time together next trip up! Love you guys!
Good luck with all the going back to work stuff. I'm sure the kids will be just fine, especially since they'll be getting spoiled by the grandmas!
It's good to know that you guys survived being "homeless". My parents have already said they would take us in, but I can't even begin to imagine moving twice and living with them with two small children. We had another showing tonight--the third of the week, so we're hoping we'll get some offers eventually.
I feel like we always have a lot to talk about! Let me know if you ever want to do a play date on one of the days you're not working (we all still need to get together too).
Tiece I love all the new pictures! I miss you guys so much! Yes we need to get together soon:) I know it must be hard to think about going back to work already! It's hard to believe that 3 months has passed. I hope it all goes smoothly for you and Rob. It's good to hear that both Grandma's can help out:) The offer is always there if you need someone to watch them, Dan and I would be more than willing, and we would have so much fun!
I am blessed that my mom watches Kylie while I am at work and is just as excited to watch our new baby when I go back to work. That is a huge blessing! I am hoping to take the full three months off of work like you did for maternity leave. Where are you working at these days? I work downtown at DP Fox (corporate headquarter for Griffins, Rampage, Fox Motor Group, etc.) Take care and good luck with work!
