Did anyone know that there are not only wide shoes for kids, but also EXTRA wide shoes? Well our 'little' boy has very chubby feet and needs very expensive shoes to accommodate them! Luckily we got away with Crocs all summer... Seeing that it's cooler out, we've invested in one wide pair (they didn't have them in extra-wide) and one extra-wide pair (which fit him the best). Hopefully his chubby little feet thin out as he gets older so that we don't have to spend $50/pair of shoes every couple of months!

Those shoes are awesome! My kids both have wide feet so we are very familiar with the Striderite store :) Have you ever been to the Striderite outlet? There's one in Michigan City, Howell, and Birch Run. I take my kids to the regular store first and get their feet measured and then buy their shoes at the outlet (you can usually get shoes for around $30 instead of $50, although you have to drive there...but really it's just a good excuse to hit the outlet malls :) )
Isn't it funny that our kids are texting?! I love it! We saw you at the RHS Homecoming Game, but couldn't get to you to say "Hi!" Your kids are adorable & getting so big - take care!
We get wide, but extra wide, that is something I didn't know about!
