How are we doing?

That depends... do you want the typical Leticia answer or the down right honest answer?

My tendency is to answer positively, therefore things are going well. I might add that I'm "a little tired, but that can be expected" and that's where it will typically end. Lately though, I've been too tired to give my typical happy response and have been more candid with people (which is probably what they wanted in the first place).

So... honestly, we're exhausted. Landon spit up blood again yesterday and will be starting his third prescription today (we haven't had any luck with the other ones... a good day here or there, but usually days filled with lots of crying and the appearance of pain). We are really praying that this one will help him. I'm sure Madisyn feels neglected too, which I feel terrible about. It's tough when he is crying the majority of the day and I am trying to calm him.

Thankfully we've had family help us out so that we can get a much needed break once in a while. Rob and I were able to go out, just the two of us last weekend and may get a chance to do it again this coming weekend... I think it has kept our sanity (although that's borderline some days).

Oh Tiece! I'm so sorry to hear that Landon's not doing well still. We will certainly continue to pray for you guys. I can only imagine how heart wrenching that must be for you guys! We will be up in June, so I'll let you know cuz we'd LOVE to see you guys too!

I'm sorry things are rough right now. You must be very frustrated, worried, and tired... but you're doing everything right taking care of your little ones, even if Madisyn has to deal with less attention than she's used to. I will pray that Landon gets better soon!

Sweet Tiece - I cannot imagine how exhausted your body must be...let alone your heart! I am so thankful for your honesty, and your vulnerability - you truly are an amazing woman!

Happy Mothers Day (one day early!) I hope you et some reprieve this weekend, and are celebrated well. You are a wonderful mother!!!

We are a busy family of five! I enjoy time with my husband and kids, running, being outdoors, shopping for deals, and cuddling. My wonderful husband keeps busy playing with the kiddos, hunting, fishing, exercising and working on projects around the house. Madisyn is six, in 1st grade, loves being outdoors and isn't one bit afraid of bugs or worms! Landon is four, a spitting image of Daddy, and is the sweetest, naughtiest and funniest little boy, all in one! Tinley was born February 24, 2012 and has already blessed us beyond belief! Here's a glimpse into our crazy and wonderful lives... hope you enjoy!

Tiece of Cake

I've finally decided to make a blog (Tiece of cake) dedicated to cakes... as to not consume the family blog.
